Surgery

Many types of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries are routinely performed at the Animal Clinic.
We offer up to date techniques in surgery (including radio surgery), isoflourane anesthesia, electronic monitoring, waste gas scavenging.
For advanced procedures, a board certified surgical specialist can be scheduled for your pet’s surgery, if indicated.

Dentistry

We encourage and provide routine dental care including ultrasonic teeth scaling, polishing, and extractions when indicated.
Good oral care has a significant impact on overall health.

Laboratory

We have lab facilities on site to provide blood chemistry and blood count available within minutes.
Pre-anesthetic blood screens are encouraged and can be performed the same day as surgery or dentistry.
For tests not available in house, we use a nationally recognized veterinary laboratory.
Our doctors are available to discuss results with you.

Radiology

X-ray facilities including automated processing are located on our premises.
In addition, we also have an x-ray scanner and telemedine unit, which allows us to send radiographs to board certified specialists for evaluation.

Ultrasound and Endoscopy

Our imaging room is equipped with an ultrasound machine, endoscope and vetscope camera system.
Board certified specialists are used to interpret our ultrasound images, available the same day.

Avian and Exotic Care

We have a strong interest and years of experience in avian and exotic animals, pocket pets, birds and lizards of many varieties.
This is a significant part of our practice.

Alternative Medicine

We have veterinarians on staff with interests in alternative medicine. We provide veterinary acupuncture treatments.

24 Hour Emergency Service

Emergency services are provided for after hour problems including weekends and holidays. By calling our regular clinic number, you will hear a recording instructing you how to page the veterinarian on call. We will respond quickly and effectually to your call for help. In rare situations when we cannot provide after hour response, you will be provided a number for a service we recommend.

Boarding

Boarding facilities are available for dogs, cats, birds, and exotics.
*Please call in advance to reserve your dates.*
All kennel rooms are climate controlled and all dogs are exercised in individual lowered outdoor runs.
We also provide a cat only room including spacious cat condos. Tours are welcomed. For the safety of all pets, we require that all vaccinations and routine tests be up to date.

Commuter Drop Off

We offer a convenient commuter drop off after 8am Monday through Friday for pets requiring hospital stays, dentistry, surgery, baths and boarding. There is no charge for this same day stay, but, we do ask that you call ahead to schedule drop offs.

Grooming

We offer Professional Grooming
as well as bathing, brushing, and sanitary shaves.
Please call ahead to discuss your pet’s needs and to schedule an appointment.

Food and Supplies

We carry a variety of prescription and non-prescription diets.
In addition, flea control products, vitamins, shampoo, and other pet supplies are available.

Microchip Identification

A microchip can be placed under your pet’s skin for permanent identification. Animal shelters, veterinarians and humane societies scan lost pets for these chips to help reunite lost pets with their owners.

Wildlife

We provide treatment for injured and ill wildlife free of charge (time and space permitting).
When needed, we will, following medical or surgical treatments, refer long term cases to appropriate rehabilitators.
