Dr. Paul Sedlacek graduated from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. He had previously earned an early admission to that program after only two years of undergraduate studies, also at MSU.

Following graduation, Paul was employed by Benson Animal Hospitals of Lansing, Michigan, a group of 5 privately owned veterinary clinics. After only six months in this practice, Dr. Sedlacek was promoted to manager of one of these hospitals.

After three years at Benson's, Paul returned to NJ in 1987, and to the same practice in which he previously worked as a kennel boy and later as a technician. Following a prearranged transitional period with the former owner, Dr. Albert Singer, Dr. Sedlacek became owner of the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains in 1988.

During his tenure at ACMP, the clinic has grown tremendously. Initially there was a staff of 3, including 1 veterinarian. Today, there are 5 vets on staff and a total of over 35 employees.

Dr. Sedlacek has a strong interest in avian and exotic animal medicine and surgery, as well as small animal internal medicine and surgery. He has provided services for numerous breeders, kennels, aviaries, and mini zoos.
